Application Form for Airborne Flying Display Directors (AFDDs)

Important Information

The UK Airborne Flying Display Director (AFDD) Course is managed and delivered by TSA Consulting Ltd on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority.

Submission of the AFDD Course Application Form will enable the CAA to consider the applicants for suitability and successful candidates will be sent further information to access the course material.

Terms and Conditions:

The AFDD Course is available to all DA Holders.
Candidates will be required to access course material, and to submit coursework, online.
Candidates will be required to bring a wifi enabled device (smartphone, tabletop laptop) to access certain modules during the day.

Accreditations are dependent on a current behavioural and attitudinal fitness assessment. SRG1303B currency requirements are detailed in CAP 403. Where required, a form SRG1303B should be submitted direct to the CAA GA Unit, in parallel to this application.
