The UK Airborne Flying Display Director (AFDD) Course is managed and delivered by TSA Consulting Ltd on behalf of the Civil Aviation Authority. DA Holders are advised that from the 2021 Flying Display Season onwards, an AFDD accreditation or a ground FDD accreditation be will be required to hold a CAA Display Permission.
Submission of the AFDD Course Application Form will enable the CAA to consider the applicants for suitability and successful candidates will be sent further information to access the course material.
Terms and Conditions:
- The AFDD Course is available to all DA Holders.
- Candidates will be required to access course material, and to submit coursework, online.
- Candidates will be required to bring a wifi enabled device (smartphone, tabletop laptop) to access certain modules during the day.
